- AUSTRU 1&2 pellet is a complete starting and growth feed for chicks of ostriches, emus and greater rheas. Appropriate from the first week until the age of 4 to 6 months, then gradually switch to AUSTRU 3 pellet.
- This starting pellet contains enough protein and the right amount of energy, minerals and vitamins for a good and efficient growth and development. A balanced amount of crude fibre ensures an optimal digestion.
- In order to avoid weak bones or crooked legs, it is important that the amount of feed does not exceed 5% of the body weight. The 3 mm pellet guarantees a smooth intake without excessive spilling.

The presence of omega-3 fatty acids and natural pigments contributes to optimal feather colouring and shiny plumage.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• Period: During the first 6 months.
• For an optimal growth gradually switch to AUSTRU 3 pellet from the 4th month:
From the 4th month: 75% AUSTRU 1&2 pellet + 25% AUSTRU 3 pellet
From the 5th month: 50% AUSTRU 1&2 pellet + 50% AUSTRU 3 pellet
From the 6th month: 25% AUSTRU 1&2 pellet + 75% AUSTRU 3 pellet
From the 7th month: 100% AUSTRU 3 pellet
• In order to avoid weak bones or crooked legs, it is important that the amount of feed does not exceed 5% of the body weight.
TIPS
• Always provide Grit for an easy digestion. Grit also has a positive effect on the skeleton.
• Always make sure there is plenty of clean drinking water.
• From 5 weeks, feel free to make fresh, undried, short-clipped green forage available such as grass or alfalfa.
• For an optimal development and health, take the life phases and periods into account.
